Fez ontem 7 anos do atentado às torres Gémeas em Nova Iorque. Depois da perplexidade do que aconteceu no dia 11-09-2001, não posso deixar de salientar como todos nós passámos a viver com o medo latente (afinal é isto o terrorismo.....). O mundo ficou diferente, mais receoso, mais desconfiado, mais perigoso....Deixo-vos também com a reflexão do Comandante Frank L. Culbertson da Estação Espacial Internacional-Expedição 3, bem como a fotografia tirada dessa estação nesse mesmo dia:
"The world changed today. What I say or do is very minor compared to the significance of what happened to our country today when it was attacked." ... "It's horrible to see smoke pouring from wounds in your own country from such a fantastic vantage point. The dichotomy of being on a spacecraft dedicated to improving life on the earth and watching life being destroyed by such willful, terrible acts is jolting to the psyche, no matter who you are."
